Recipe // EL Portal Paloma
While on our recent holiday vacation to Palm Springs, Larsen created a new cocktail — of course he did! — using fresh citrus harvested by our children on the grounds of the property we visited. It’s a good one. Here goes:
EL PORTAL PALOMA
Serves 1
2 ozs tequila, reposado preferred but silver would be fine
1/2 fresh grapefruit, juiced
Honey
Topo Chico
Margarita salt
Dried citrus slice, for garnish (optional)
In a shaker, pour in tequila, grapefruit juice & drizzle of honey. Dry shake (that means no ice) until honey is incorporated, then pour into a double old fashioned glass filled to the top with ice. Add a sprinkle of margarita salt, then top with Topo Chico. Garnish with dried citrus slice, if desired.
